What is Wukong a god of ?
Sun Wukong is one of the most famous mythological figures in China, originating from the classic novel Journey to the West. Born from a celestial stone formed at the beginning of time in the Eastern Continent, he became the king of the monkeys after leading them into the Water Curtain Cave, earning the title “Handsome Monkey King.” Later, after traveling thousands of miles, he became a disciple of the Patriarch Subhuti, receiving the name Sun Wukong and mastering the 72 Transformations, the Somersault Cloud, and the power of immortality, among other advanced magical abilities. Sun Wukong is intelligent, lively, loyal, and fiercely opposed to evil, representing wit and courage in folk culture.
